Fabulous opportunity for a Senior Event Project Manager to take the lead on an annual incentive programme for a highly prestigious global brand at this creative, established and highly regarded agency.

The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the development and delivery of a new annual incentive programme.  This is a really high profile programme for the organisation – a week long reward programme, with 100 participants coming from all corners of the world.  The role will be integral to the successful delivery of the 2019 event (Australia) and developing the programme for 2020 and 2021.   The project will be full end to end, from initial communications and delegate management, through to travel/transfers, and the delivery of an amazing week of special and unique experiences.
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Senior PM for development of concepts/proposals, and for delivery of annual incentive
  • Project Management – lead the development and delivery of incentive programme, budgets, timelines
  • Lead a team comprising of logistics, creative, production and third party suppliers (dmcs, hotel, hospitality, entertainment, transport, staffing)
  • Develop and integrate understanding of the client brand and programme objectives
  • Plan and oversee site visits
  • Contracting and managing of venues and suppliers
  • Working with HSSE lead to ensure all H&S standards and guidelines met
  • Client relationship management – develop relationship, reporting, present budgets and proposals
  • Financial management – including regular internal and client reporting

The Candidate
You’ll be an experienced Senior Event Project Manager, with a track record of delivering international events, ideally including incentives.  You’ll ideally have an agency background, and be used to working end to end from creative proposal development through to production and logistics.  An excellent communicator and team leader, with exceptional client handling skills. 
Key requirements:

  • Significant experience managing and delivering events – ideally including incentive events – ideally agency side
  • Experience of managing internal specialist teams on project delivery including creative, logistics, and production management
  • Thorough understanding of delegate management systems
  • Extensive experience of 3rd party supplier management, eg international DMCs, Venues
  • Good knowledge of events industry, new trends and suppliers (venues, entertainers, catering etc)
  • Excellent communicator – highly motivated – flexible – excellent attention to detail – great team lead

This role would suit a highly organised and creative Event Manager or Senior Event Manager, who has a track record of working on international events, ideally incentives, is very strong on logistics management, but also a very good project manager, who can manage and direct internal resources (creative, production) and external suppliers (hotels, dmcs, transport), as well as having exceptionally good client management skills – and of course great at managing complex budgets!  You’ll be used to working from proposal to delivery, and enjoy working at the top end of your field.
