Global market leader is looking for a highly organized and proactive Events Manager play a key role in their marketing team.
Market leader in their sector, this international company offer their global clients consultancy, insight guidance and bespoke technology within their specialist sector – offering their clients a fully integrated suite of services backed by dedicated support from in-house team client service teams in London, Hong Kong, New York and Sydney.
A varied role, reporting into the Marketing, Training and Events Manager your focus will be the development and delivery of their annual events programme, a mix of client, external and internal events – this includes a varied range of events, from their presence at industry exhibitions to their annual conferennce, global client hospitality/information forums, kick off meetings, internal events (eg xmas party) and webinars. As well as event delivery, a key part of your role will be researching and planning their future events programme, and liaising with key personnel and teams within the company to ensure the events programme works to fulfill company brand and mission objectives. Events are global, but you would only attend UK events, though designing and setting up overseas events and briefing local offices. Responsiblities include:
You’re an experienced Event Manager, who would enjoy playing a role in both the delivery of a varied event programme and in taking the bigger view of and involvement in the company’s objectives, and taking a key role in the design and development of the events programme. Alongside experience managing events from start to finish (ideally including client briefings, internal events, exhibition stands, client events (mix of hospitality and information) you’ll ideally have wider marketing experience of how events sit within wider company context, and bring excellent stakeholder liaison and communication skills.
