The Data Protection Manager reports to the Head of Information Security and sits within the Risk & Compliance team. You will be responsible for delivering the day to day operation of the Data Protection in line with data protection policy and be responsible for delivering the day to day operation of the Record Management policy both in-house and with 3rd party suppliers. This role will include regular interface with the 3rd party supplier ensuring compliance of their data protection function.
I’m looking for an experienced Data Protection Manager who has a broad knowledge based in various technologies and platforms ideally within financial services or within a company who has a large record database.
You will have a solid foundation in Data Protection legislation, be experienced in responding to subject rights requests or complaints. You will have a detailed understanding of UK DPA (Data Protection Act), EU GDPRM and the UK Data Protection Bill. You will be confident with the Security and Compliance centre functions and be confident in the management of records management.
