I’m looking for a Technical Pension Specialist to join the fastest growing pension company in the UK.

It has millions of assets under management and a highly sophisticated, award winning investment strategy. Based in Central London but soon moving to Canary Wharf. The Technical Pensions Specialist reports directly to the Director of Pensions & Tax law and sits within the wider department who provide legal counsel, technical support and compliance assurance ensuring the company meets its obligations and are legally and regulatory compliant.
The Pensions Technical Specialist will assist the Legal Director in identifying and managing legal risk from a pensions and tax investment perspective during expected significant regulation and legislative changes. You will be required to use your technical expertise and past knowledge in pensions and tax to support the legal directors and wider organisations on any technical advice and decision making.

I’m looking for a Pension Specialist who has gained significant technical expertise in relations to trust based defined contribution occupational pensions schemes. You will be able to demonstrate significant experience of tax and pensions legislative provisions and their practical applications. You will have good knowledge and understanding of HMRC and DWP requirements as well as TPR regulatory codes of practice and guidance. You will have the ability to understand and quickly familiarise yourself with any new area of tax pension and regulatory law and subsequently be able to articulate information to a range of people.
This is a critical role for the organisation you will be given a great deal of autonomy to make decisions and judgements calls. This is a superb opportunity to join the company truly at the forefront of pensions within the UK.
