Business Analyst – Functional – Financial Services

Job Description

Excellent opportunity for an ambitious, motivated functional business analyst who’s had experience in defining functional business requirements to support solution design.  I’m looking for someone who has gained experience working with a outsourced contract.

This role will be sat within a new ‘requirements’ team who are responsible for developing a requirements framework as part of a new large critical work programme. 

This is for a 2 year FTC.

The Role

Functional Business Analyst required to sit within the ‘Requirements’ work stream in the product solutions team.  You’ll be developing a new set of functional, business requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support an initial review of functional requirements
  • Support work defining functional requirements
  • Analysis of current solution and the production of documents that help define how the components of the solution design work together
  • Production of materials to support the procurement of the solution design.

About You

I’m looking for a ‘hit the ground running’ Functional Business Analyst with excellent stakeholder management skills, who’s gained experience supporting front line business operations or business solutions within financial services.  Using your strong analysis and strategic thinking skills you will be able to deliver and manage various projects to ensure recommendations. Ideally you would have experience working with 3rd party suppliers/off shore BPO.  Ideally, you’ll have a strong background in financial service regulation.  Using your excellent communication skills, you’ll be required to deal with Senior Directors and Trustees across the organisation.  This role will offer an opportunity for career development and allow you to be at the forefront of one of the most exciting FS reforms in recent times  thereafter.
