Job Description

Super Events contract (April start) working on 2 large B2B events in Europe for a leading sports body. Fluent English/Spanish/French needed!

THE COMPANY
A world renowned, international sports organisation who; provide direction and governance, oversee the development of their sport, stage international tournaments and promote their sporting genre at grass roots level. Work with a passionate, supportive team.  Lovely offices in South London, great bens including lunch contribution and international travel.

THE ROLE

Fantastic 5 month contract (starting end of April 2019) for an event administrator / event executive / event coordinator / event assistant that will see you working in the Presidential Office of this leading Sporting body that will see you supporting on the planning and delivery of 2 very high profile B2B events (a multi-day conference in Lisbon and a glittering gala dinner in Paris). 

In this exciting contract your responsibilities will include:-

  • Event planning support
  • Guest invites & RSVP coordination
  • Delegate online registration (CVENT)
  • Event Administration
  • Venue & hotel liaison
  • Updating accommodation spreadsheets & producing reports
  • Event Logistics
  • Supplier, speaker & VIP communication
  • Data-entry, reports & schedules
  • On-site event management 
  • General departmental support & ad-hoc office duties as/when needed

IMPORTANT: you must be willing to be onsite for several days in both Lisbon and Paris.

YOU

You’ll need to be a confident, proactive, “switched-on” and can-do type of person with some events knowledge (planning & on-site delivery) who can think-on-their-feet and is detailed, thorough, hands-on and happy to help wherever and whenever needed.

You’ll need strong Spanish language skills (useful to have French too) and MUST also have excellent English (written and spoken).

As this is an event support role you’ll need a good all-round understanding of event management and should already have had some experience in event planning, delegate online registration (CVENT), event logistics, venue & hotel liaison, transfers, accommodation spreadsheet updating, supplier coordination, event administration, data-entry, reports & schedules, general admin support (filing, photocopying etc..) and on-site event delivery.

You could be a recent Event Management graduate (or due to graduate shortly) or an existing event professional as long as you’re happy to act in a supporting role (event administration / event coordination).

Open to candidate experience/level however the language skills and the events knowledge along with a sunny personality and strong work ethic are the key things needed!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a bi-lingual English/Spanish (good French useful too!) events organiser who is looking for an exciting events contract that also offers international travel too!
