Description
Lovely, upbeat events team looking for a super organised Event Executive to work across a busy programme of f2f and virtual events at this Professional Body within a specialist sector of the financial services. (13 month mat cover)

Organisation:
This highly regarded professional membership body represents a community of c. 12,000 UK professionals in its sector – they lead on intellectual debate within their area, and are the guardian of ethics and professionalism in their sector of the financial industry – the interests of their members are at the heart of what they do.Their Events team of three sits within the Customer Experience team of 14, and a full Organisation’s complement of c. 50 at their central London office.

Role
You’ll be joining a collaborative and upbeat team! Line managed by the Events & Engagement Manager, you will be tasked with delivering client services, administrative support and operations logistics for a packed-out schedule of events. You will need to be involved in every step of event delivery such as planning, operations and stakeholder management. You will also work closely with their community of professional volunteers from the industry who sit on committees and working groups and are instrumental in everything the society does. A typical week includes scheduling new events; handling enquiries and bookings; building event web pages; running webinars and live events; and providing guidance to an online community. This is a fast-paced job in a small, close-knit organisation so you need to be able to work with agility.  Benefits include a great team culture, very competitive remuneration & benefits package. You:
The team are looking for a friendly, supportive team player, a good communicator – proven experience working on event admin tasks and logistics - a good proven multitasker, excellent attention to detail, good on fast turnaround when needed, quite process driven, but also with the softer people and developed communication skills to deal with a wide range of stakeholders – your role has lots of touch points with a wide range of contacts internally and externally.  You’ll enjoy the organisation and thoroughness that underpins events, dealing with queries, delegates and speakers, ensuring the underlying CRM infrastructure is well managed and maintained.  As well as handling lots of activities in support of the Event Manager, you will also project manage your own Webinar series, and some individual f2f events.
Essential Experience:
•             You have experience in events administration, and event delivery in a corporate environment such as a B2B events organiser or a professional body, with min 1-2 years experience of event admin/logistics
•             Experience in responding to customers by phone and email – and great at it!
•             MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel, and some experience in managing event registration data in a CRM system (Dynamics would be particularly useful to have knowledge of)
