This is a brilliant team to join, and will give you a really broad range of events to work across. The Events team support the objectives of the Organization, which operates within the marketing sector, and is a social enterprise whose focus is supporting the future shape of marketing, including the relationship between brands, agencies, marketing suppliers and technology innovators. The events they deliver to support this include an awards programme and gala event, networking, thought leadership, conference, and webinar events programme – all focusing on supporting and celebrating the industry, it’s development, innovation and members. Role:
Working as part of the Events and Awards Team, as Events and Awards Executive you’ll coordinate events and webinars from conception to close, ensuring they are promoted, planned and executed to a high standard. You’ll also work closely with the Events and Awards Manager to assist in executing the year long communications and event activity that is part of the Awards programme, as well as working on individual events, webinars etc. As well as event co-ordination, your role will involve a high level of liaison with internal and external stakeholders, delegates, suppliers and also sponsors where required, and cover aspects of content as well as delivery.

You’ll be at the early stage of your events career, and looking for an opportunity to bring your ambition and energy to a role that will firmly establish and develop your career. The role would suit a proactive Events Grad, or similar. You’ll enjoy working in a busy and sociable team, be a key team player, be naturally highly organised and have a keen eye for detail. Good existing admin skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to comfortably deal with people at all levels are essential. You’ll already have had some exposure to the events world, and are keen to learn and develop. The successful applicant should be familiar with the events lifecycle. Good communication and written skills, with great attention to detail are strongly desired along with a flexible nature, can do attitude and good initiative. The role would suit an Events Grad or similar, keen to learn and develop, and who would enjoy working in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities- - Events Administration tasks: answering queries, raising invoices, sending joining instructions and post event emails, ensuring the events listings are up to date, proof-reading email communications, raising POs, payment chasing, creating badges, agendas, delegate lists etc.
- - Conducting venue research and liaison.
- - Liaising with sponsors to ensure contract requirements per event are delivered
- - Assisting with content and speaker research
- - Working with the Events and Awards Manager to create content briefings for event/webinar promotion that reflect the meaning and purpose of the event/webinar
- - Speaker and delegate coordination
- - Running on the day event management for assigned events, both f2f and virtual
- - Collating post event feedback and statistics for reporting purposes.
- Awards:
- - Supporting the Events and Awards Manager in conducting market research and competitor analysis to ensure the Awards are still effectively competing in the market.
- - Assist in the day to day running of the Awards Committee, taking minutes, and following up actions.
- - Liaising with small value sponsors to ensure contract requirements are being delivered.
- - Undertaking Awards Administration tasks: answering queries, raising invoices, ensuring the awards site is up to date, proof-reading email communications, raising POs, payment chasing.
- - Judging Week, Shortlist Party, Awards Night and Grand Prix Reveal.
- - Assisting in on the day delivery of Events.
- - Coordinate Winners Case Study and Entry Events.
Key attributes in the successful candidate:
