Office Manager – (Creative tech company)

Job Description

I’m looking for an experienced, talented and energetic Office Manager to join this busy and buzzy creative tech marketing company, and who would enjoy the opportunity to be a member of the senior leadership team.

Organisation and context
This is a dynamic and growing tech company – they work with major brands, creating personalised video content for CRM, social media and programmatic channels.  As such they are a fairly buzzy and busy environment, with a City-based team of about 50 diverse and talented individuals. They are looking for an experienced Office Manager to be at the heart of the team. Role
The Office Manager will play a key role in the present and future of the company. The role will report into the COO, and have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the office, and also work closely with the finance team and take on general HR duties. The role has great potential for growth, personal development and future opportunities and is a critical role in supporting the Senior team. They are also a fairly small team however, and this is also a hands-on role where you’ll be expected to get stuck in. Key elements of the role include:

  • General office management (day-to-day office ops)
  • General HR duties such as on-boarding new starters, may take care of payroll procedures
  • Support Finance Manager, record keeping, process expenses and invoices
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the leadership team
  • Provide general administrative support for the directors as needed
  • Manage health and safety as well as fire regulations within the office

You
We’re looking for an experienced Officer Manager - a really good all rounder, ideally with some experience with HR duties, as well as in supporting the financial team.  You’ll ideally have worked in either a creative or corporate environment, and would enjoy being in a successful and growing company, in an inclusive and team-focussed environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must.  Key requirements include:

  • Prior office management experience
  • Proficiency in G-Suite and HR/Finance systems (ideally Charlie HR and Xero)
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Reliable, dependable, positive attitude, ability to perform under pressure
  • Excellent people skills
