Social Media Manager – Customer Experience

I`m ideally looking for someone who`s gained experience managing social content for a consumer brand or media company who has an understanding of online consumer and business behaviour and content across websites, social media and email, with experience interacting with online communities and platform and actively manages brand on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, Linkedin, Instagram and Tumblr.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Digital Strategy and working closely with the recently promoted Digital experience manager the Social Media Manager will plan, organise and execute the company’s social media strategy ensuring that new and existing customers are provided with relevant content delivering high levels of engagement. Day to day you will:

  • Grow ‘fan base’ and presence on social media by implementing a world-class social marketing strategy.
  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and potential new (Pinterest, Snapchat, Instagram, Vine, etc).
  • Fully integrate social media channels with website
  • Explore new ways to engage and new social networks to reach targets and stay abreast of new social innovations
  • Monitor the customer contact channel – oversee social media replies
  • Own and develop social content calendar and create fresh, fun content
  • Lots of autonomy and interaction at all levels
  • Research and advise on a new social media platform
  • Offers great support and induction period

About You
I’m looking for a Social Media Manager who`s ideally gained experience managing social content for a consumer brand or media company who has an understanding of online consumer and business behaviour and content across websites, social media and email, with experience interacting with online communities and platform and actively manages brand on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, Instagram and Tumblr. You will have a proven track record of executing social media strategies and leveraging data driven research/analysis to drive strategic direction. You will have a strong working knowledge of various social media marketing technologies such as social monitoring/CMS platforms to deliver an exceptional online customer experience.  You will also need to enjoy working with different stakeholders, able to gain proven results in a fast paced start up environment.
