Front-End Team Manager – Sport Betting

Job Description

I’m looking for a highly technical and inspirational manager to lead a talented front-end team.

You would have gained senior experience as a lead JavaScript/Web developer on functional busy websites.

The Company:

One of the UK’s pre-eminent sports betting and casino solution providers offering services in the UK and beyond.  Work with big name partners in running their platforms.  Based in very trendy offices in the heart of the tech epicentre in London.

The Role:

As lead JavaScript/Web developer you will be responsible for managing a team of 7 (JavaScript engineers, web developers and designers).  You will be required to:

  • Project management – liaise with stakeholders, project managers, product owners to communicate progress, manage expectations and help prioritise delivery ensuring that the team members have the necessary support to do their jobs effectively.
  • Hands on technical skills – you will review and commit code with an emphasis on maintainability, quality and reliability.
  • Manage releases – coordinate and communicate regular releases to stakeholders ensuring release schedule is timely and causes minimum disruption.
  • Testing – test and review team’s output – ensuring high quality is maintained across sites and devices.

About You:

I’m looking for a Front-End Team Manager – who highly experienced in web development (not necessarily from gaming background if it’s functional websites) Importantly I’m looking or someone who’s experienced , who’s keen to line manage and motivate a team.  Goes without saying but you’ll have strong technical skills, who the team can respect and go to for support.
