This is a unique and highly prestigious London body – and this role will see you leading a team of Event Co-ordinators as you and your team deliver the detailed organisation of varied high profile hospitality events – including attendance of Royalty, and other high profile attendees. Events are mainly traditional in nature, high profile, from intimate receptions to large scale banquets.
You’ll be joining a busy and friendly events team – and be based at one of London’s most historic buildings. You’ll be leading your team across all aspects of the meticulous organisation of events (mainly hospitality focussed), and be the key point of contact with senior officials internally, as well as Royal Households, Foreign Office, embassies and other organisations. You’ll work closely with senior internal stakeholders to research and enhance future events, as well as identifying and maintaining best practice. This is an important and high profile role, and requires an experienced and confident events candidate – with proven event delivery experience across a range of events, and of successfully dealing with high level and varied stakeholders. An exceptional organiser, exemplary communicator and outstanding team player, you’ll set the highest standards in all you do. Being calm and adaptable under pressure is of course vital. Leadership skills are also important as you will develop and manage your team of Event Co-ordinators and Assistants.
