Experienced, savvy Senior Event Manager needed to join this Global Communications Agency, to take over the planning and delivering their varied international internal events programme, for a minimum 12 month mat cover.

With global offices, and an enviable reputation, their internal and external events programme is key to reinforcing their position as a leader, and thought-leader, in their field. NB: This is a 12-month minimum maternity cover role and the successful candidate will need to be available to start asap for onboarding and handover due to two large upcoming industry events in May (WEF in Davos, Switzerland) and June (Cannes Lions in Cannes, France). In this role, it is imperative that the event manager must be available for travel to both these industry events.
Role
Working in their marketing team, the Global Events Manager will take responsibility for the execution, planning and production of their global meetings and industry events programme, which aims to maintain the firm’s brand and reputation, and support its growth strategy and employee engagement. These events will be a mix of virtual, hybrid and in-person formats (approx. 3-5 per month), from a global address to all employees from the company’s namesake founder, to external thought leadership events with prestigious speakers and high profile guests, to attendance and VIP programmes at major industry events. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the design, delivery and implementation of events from concept to completion through to performance analysis, working closely with internal Stakeholders, inhouse creative teams, and external event agencies and suppliers. We are looking for an experienced and savvy Event Manager, with excellent experience working across varied corporate events either inhouse or agency – experience working for a creative media orientated brand is highly advantageous, as is working within a marketing team, and/or to brand/marketing objectives. As well as exceptional face-to-face event planning and delivery experience, it is important you bring strong virtual event experience, particularly with the ability to ensure events are designed with flair, creativity and sophistication in line with the company ethos and brand.
