Permanent B2B Event Management job – looking for a Senior Event Coordinator with 2-3 years solid end-to-end events experience!

ROLE

Permanent job vacancy (Event Executive / Senior Event Coordinator level) working in a large events team (6 event staff) for a leading membership association in central London. In this role you'll take full ownership for the end-to-end event management of your own portfolio of 20 events per year which will include breakfast roundtables, half-day forums & conferences, networking receptions and one large scale seated black tie dinner (all held in the UK – mostly London – and for audiences of 20-450pax).

Key responsibilities will include:-

  • Full end-to-end event management
  • Event planning & research
  • Venue finding & venue liaison
  • Supplier coordination (AV, F&B, equipment hire etc.) 
  • Delegate registration
  • Coordination of all event collateral (invites, programmes etc.)
  • Manage online filing/admin for each event
  • Updating information on website events pages
  • Budget management
  • Attendee recording & updating CRM
  • On-site event delivery
  • Post event reconciliation & analysis / reporting

CANDIDATE

You'll be a meticulously detailed Senior Event Coordinator / Events Executive with at least 2 years of solid B2B events experience, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering your own events.

Key candidate requirements include:- 

  • Minimum of 2 years B2B events experience
  • Full 360 (end-to-end) event management 
  • Supplier & venue coordination 
  • Delegate registration management 
  • Onsite event delivery 
  • Budget management
  • Good IT & web skills (updating and maintaining event pages) 
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Association, not-for-profit or corporate background
  • Superb attention to detail and good proof reading skills

From a personality and work ethic point of view you'll be confident, resilient, pro-active and a really good multi-tasker who can prioritise their own workload.  You'll also be a good team player who has the diplomacy, tact and professionalism to deal effectively with members, suppliers, speakers and sponsors).

This is a fantastic permanent event role for a Senior Event Coordinator / Event Exec with a minimum of 2 years B2B events experience to join a friendly team of events professionals working on a busy schedule of events for a high-profile membership association in central London!
