Marketing Assistant (International Events)

Well established London PCO who deliver large scale 4-5 day global conferences for the energy and oil & gas sectors. London office and friendly and fun team.


A 10-month contract supporting the marketing team to expand the company’s international reach and gain extensive exposure surrounding their two large scale international trade conferences. The role offers a brilliant opportunity for an entry level marketing professional to develop new skills and grow your career in a creative and lively environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-event, work across a range of multichannel campaigns, assist with the delivery of all marketing material as well as develop and manage new and existing media partners.
  • Post-event, assist in producing post event reports and coordinate thank you letters and follow up correspondence with all relevant contacts.

This role will support both the Marketing Executive and Marketing Manager 


You will be a highly enthusiastic Marketing Assistant with 2+ years in B2B marketing ideally from the events sector. This role would be suited to an extremely motivated and energetic marketing professional with events experience. You MUST have excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, and be confident to negotiate and communicate with key stakeholders (phone/email and face-to-face). We are looking for a professional team player who is highly motivated, organised, reliable, eager to learn and think on their toes.  You’ll need to be able to work to deadlines, manage your time effectively and willing to travel internationally if required.
