Role & Team
You’ll be joining the busy Event Delivery team of 8 who work across a varied portfolio of events, flagship conferences, workshops & seminars, lunches/dinners, receptions and thought leadership events. The event delivery team is sizable, and they work in a flat structure, normally with an event lead and 1 support on each event. You’d have your own set of events, and as well as delivering all the event logistics Event Managers work closely with the event committees and working groups, taking minutes and co-ordinating pre-planning process. Working closely with the Director Commercial Delivery Team, and Head of Operations Delivery, the Events & Training Manager will have an opportunity to work across a range of physical and virtual training and events activities, from webinars to workshops and conferences to networking dinners, maintaining a consistently high standard for the ‘member experience’. A talented Event Project Manager, with an interest in financial services, you’ll ideally come from a corporate or association background (financial sector highly beneficial), with excellent event management skills, alongside exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with individual and groups of stakeholders to deliver on all aspects of an event’s objectives.
