Their varied events programme brings together leading professionals and knowledge in the field, as well as supporting varied research and professional development programmes on a global basis.
Role
As the Organisation’s Event Manager (reporting directly into the Director of Operations) your role will be to plan and execute meetings and events, leading project teams from initial conception through to successful completion. This role requires the ability to define project tasks and milestones by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and suppliers, to ensure a successful event that meets the organisational goals.
Events are a mix of in-person and virtual, and include a Bi-Annual International Congress, their AGM, side events at the World Health Assembly and The UN General Assembly, EU Project Meetings and webinars, leadership programme, symposiums and special Training days.
Your role will be a mix of event project management and logistical delivery, liaising with varied internal and external stakeholders and internal teams (Policy and Education) as well as local suppliers (eg PCOs). There would be travel as part of the role – with events in Dubai and Australia (2022) for example, and you’ll be liaising with committees and varied stakeholders and speakers globally.
