Account Director (live events agency – consumer/experiential)

Job Description

Top integrated comms/experiential agency are looking for an Account Director with strong consumer activation/experiential event production knowledge!
London based live events agency with an exciting portfolio of global brand clients from across the FMCG, financial, film, music and sport sectors.

Reporting to the Global Account Director this Account Director role will see you have direct responsibility for your clients and of managing their projects from brief to delivery. Projects will range from experiential consumer events, roadshows & brand experiences to sponsorship activation, VIP Pavillions, sports events & fanzones as well as some more one off special events such as after-show parties, product launches, film premieres, press stunts and awards.

You will be managing the production of a number of projects simultaneously (taking full ownership of the project from conception to delivery and acting as the main lead throughout the entire project lifecycle), whilst continually building key relationships with clients and offering counsel & advice on a day to day basis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Client & account management
  • Project & production management
  • Taking the initial project brief 
  • Leading ‘brainstorm sessions’ to interpret and respond to the project brief
  • Creating presentations & collateral to communicate agency responses to the brief
  • Proactively manage and respond to client requests as the central point of contact for the project
  • Produce, manage & maintain budget estimates & critical paths 
  • Oversee & manage contact reports, payment schedules & client updates
  • Work closely with the design & technical teams
  • On-site event delivery


You’ll be a highly motivated live events professional and confident client /account handler with a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience, good live event production knowledge and the ability to not only manage the relationships with your clients but also execute events from end to end.

A solid agency background (B2C & experiential ideally) with a good understanding of process is essential as is experience of liaising with c-level clients and managing internal & external suppliers across logistics, operations, creative and technical.

Candidates interested in this role must have experience of live events in a production management capacity and have worked on a range of experiential activations such as consumer events, product launches, brand experiences, sponsorship activation, sports events, fanzones & televised events.

An ability to understand/navigate technical drawings/plans would be hugely advantageous and good basic knowledge of current H&S legislation relevant to the Live Events industry extremely useful.
