Urgent requirement for experienced Change Lead Project Manager who’s successfully delivered large complex business programmes to help set up a new Change PMO.

Exciting opportunity for a Lead Change Project Manager to join Corporate Change Team in the Risk, Compliance and Technology department of a high profile financial services firm.

This is a superb time to join the team as they’re just setting up a new Change PMO – to improve change processes - so you’ll have a chance to there at the outset!  You’ll also get an opportunity to work on a range of both large and small, internal/external complex projects.

The Role
Reporting to the Central Head of Corporate Change you’ll be given a high level of autonomy and will play an important part in setting up a new corporate change team, helping to introduce a new approach to corporate change management - a new PMO.  Using your excellent project and programme management experience you’ll work with a variety of stakeholders to successful deliver corporate change projects and programmes.

  • Ensure change is controlled, put in place parameters and programme boards.
  • Manage project teams across organisational, contractual, geographic areas.
  • Create artefacts which contribute to a new structure pool of templates and processes to improve delivery of corporate change by PM’s across the organisation

About You
I’m looking for an experienced Change Lead Project Manager who’s gained experienced of setting up a PMO or P30 (project, programme and portfolio office).  You will be confident in successfully delivering multiple large and complex business and/or IT projects and/or programmes.  You have a clear understanding of best practise structured methods for delivering change.  You’ll be experienced in maintaining complex project, programme or portfolio plans. It would be an advantage if you’ve gained some experienced of public sector procurement. 

On the softer side you’ll be confident working at senior level and with a wide range of stakeholders; you’ll be a focussed and effective organiser, communicator and team player.  You’ll be comfortable working in a demanding environment, used to making quality decisions and good at working to tight deadlines.  Ideally You would have experience working with significant scale off-shore service providers.
