Internal Recruiter/Team Manager – FS In-house/Corporate

Job Description

I’m looking for an effective in-house Recruiter, Team Leader to handle direct recruitment, oversee a team of 2 plus, drive change and continuous improvement in this dynamic, busy FS company. 1-year FTC, future extension highly likely.

A high-profile financial services firm who are on track to be one of the largest pension schemes in the UK.  It’s a great place to work, people who work there feel passionate about the product and what provision it can give to people.  Based in modern offices in Canary Wharf.   High level of appreciation for work/life balance/flexible working and excellent benefits.  This is for an initial 12-month FTC.

The Role
As Resourcing & Acquisition Business Partner you’ll report directly to the Head of HR Operations and join a larger HR team of 10 who cover operations, business partnership, resourcing and talent, governance and projects.  You will lead and manage your team of 2 plus, all the time looking at improvements and driving change.  In order to develop an understanding of the company and their processes it is likely you will handle more hands-on direct hiring in the first few months, this will reduce after time.

Key to the team’s success is their working partnership across the organisation, they pride themselves on providing an effective professional HR service to help deliver the ‘People Strategy’, effective and efficient HR processes and systems.

  • Lead and oversee the resourcing team
  • Strategically drive forward resourcing projects and initiatives
  • Ensure effective talent acquisition resource planning is in place
  • Direct sourcing & managing 3rd party providers
  • Drive improvements to the recruitment system
  • Oversee end to end recruitment service
  • Work with HRBPs, key stakeholders, executive team and senior leaders

About You
I’m looking for a successful, hands on (ideally) in-house recruiter who has some leadership experience who enjoys recruitment engagement and really understands the impact of recruits.  You will have an understanding of Best Practice, experience of 3rd party engagement, managing change and continuous improvement initiatives.

A recruitment expert who has gained experience recruiting. You will need to demonstrate your experience working in a similar role in a busy environment, where you’ve successfully recruited against a variety of roles across all levels.  

You’ll be a consummate communicator – who possesses first class communication and interpersonal skills as you’ll be required to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders both internally (hiring line managers) and externally from recruitment agencies to prospective candidates.  It is importance that you have the proven resilience and confidence to challenge and drive change.
