A new opportunity for a business analyst who’s experienced at designing, implementing and managing a variety of internal financial business systems.

The Role

Reporting in to the Head of Commercial Procurement and with a dotted line reporting to Finance Director and Head of People & Development you will be responsible for the smooth running of a variety of business systems which include Sage 200, WAP, Bravo, I-Trent, K2, SharePoint.  You don’t need experience of all these systems but It would be useful if you have experience with one or more of the above.


Day to day you will:


  • Design, implement and manage a variety of financial systems to support commercial, HR and finance department.
  • Develop solutions to problems by the creative use and maximisation of existing tools
  • Monitor user feedback and suggest service improvement plans
  • Lead or help to develop/document all business processes
  • Manage service level agreements and supplier relationships
  • Identify incident, problems and change management through defined processes
  • Provide advice/guidance, training to users so that they can get the best out of the systems available
  • Identify and champion recommendations for future system change
  • Provide leadership and support to junior analysts


About You

I’m looking for a Business Analyst who’s had experienced in designing, implementing and managing a variety of internal business/financial systems.  You will be adept at incident and problem management, business process modelling, confident running workshops and providing training manuals.  You will be adept at implementing technical change through the management of third party suppliers.  You’ll also have considerable experience of MS products (office essential, SharePoint ideally). 

This is a new role in the team, you’ll be given lots of autonomy and the scope to make impacting decisions to enhance the department helping them to work more effectively now and in the future.
