Great opportunity for a Change Manager to sit within Service Delivery Team managing a large FS scheme and working with an off-shore technical team and scheme administrator.

I’m looking for a Change Manager who has gained an understanding of one (or more) of the following; customer operations, IT systems performance, IT operations, Change Management and is confident managing complex commercial relationships.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, the Change Acceptance Manager will have a high degree of autonomy and ownership of technical change.  This role is sat within the Service Management and Assurance team and works very closely with an off-shore scheme administrator.  As the scheme has grown the impact on the department has grown and therefore the service delivery team is required to oversee operational management at a high level.  It’s imperative that excellent working relationships are built with the 3rd party scheme administrator to ensure the best possible outcome.  Superb role!

Typical duties will include.

  • Governance and oversight of minor release changes, operational changes, escalating where outcomes are unlikely.
  • Assess IT system and operational impact of any product changes
  • Take ownership for and run weekly Change Approval Board, Weekly service delivery meeting.
  • Ensure off-shore scheme administrator provides information to ensure the scheme is running appropriately
  • Undertake trend analysis
  • Report and highlight any areas of risk or improvement to scheme.
  • Keep off shore scheme administrator aware of any new initiatives from across the organisation that might impact delivery of service.

About You
I’m looking for a Change Acceptance Manager or Service Delivery Manager who has gained experience in managing complex commercial issues, who also has a deep understanding in IT operations, IT systems, contact centre or back office operations within financial services.  Ideally you would have experience working with 3rd party suppliers/off shore BPO.    You’ll have the ability to undertake trend analysis and derive insight to focus the company on risk or improvement opportunities.  This company is on course to operate the largest pension scheme in the UK the change and delivery requirements are huge, this really is a fantastic opportunity.
