The Role:
Sat within the Service Management and Assurance team you’ll work alongside your colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the pension scheme, ensuring the operation controls of the outsourced partners are in place and meeting their SLAs, thus providing assurance that the scheme is being delivered as it should.  This role works closely with off-shore 3 party and the company’s Compliance, Product and testing teams.

Example of tasks:

  • Assess the operation, review and update of controls and processes to allow effective operation of the product.
  • Documenting those controls to mitigate risks
  • Work with testing team to set up to tests to establish efficiency of controls
  • Analyse process steps and testing
  • Engage with audit and compliance activity, reporting gaps/defects to financial crime team, product, compliance.
  • Producing reports to internal stakeholders including COO.

About You:
I’m looking for highly analytical person who’s keen to build on their career in financial services operation/assurance.  Ideally you would have gained some operational experience within a financial services environment – familiarity with pension scheme operations would be a distinct advantage.  Ideally you would be able to demonstrate how you’ve been required to utilise a highly level of analytical activity and/or problem solving operational management skills within your previous role.

You’ll be highly intelligent with an ability to grasp complex concepts and information and see how this translates into the bigger picture.  You’ll also be an excellent communicator and able to deal with a range of both internal and external stakeholders.
