Job Description

Polished and highly professional B2B Event Executive needed to join an innovative and content driven trade association on a 6 month maternity cover contract working on a portfolio of high profile corporate events!

COMPANY

Based in the heart of London’s West End, this high profile trade association have an influential clientele and a strong sense of community. They have a content driven programme of events that is well attended and considered essential by the business community that they serve.

ROLE

Reporting to the Commercial Group Head, this Event Executive role will see you taking on the day-to-day responsibility of a range of corporate events across the UK. These will range from glitzy and high end corporate dinners and celebrations to flagship conferences and other B2B events, from the initial research, pricing and planning stages, to the securing and delivery of speakers, to negotiations with suppliers and venues. Events will include:-

  • Black tie dinners
  • Large scale conferences
  • Drinks Receptions
  • Gala Dinners
  • Networking Events
  • Training Seminars and webinars

There are no direct reports to manage in this role so it’s very much a full end-to-end and hands-on event organising position.

YOU

The successful candidate will be a confident Event Organiser (Senior Event Coordinator / Event Manager) with a minimum of 3-5 years’ solid B2B corporate event management experience ideally working for a membership body, institute or trade association coupled with a strong understanding of the commercial B2B events market. You’ll need to be confident, articulate and well presented, with excellent communication & organisational skills, very good IT skills and an incredible level of attention to detail. You’ll have a proven track record of delivering events to budget and deadline working with a wide range of internal & external stakeholders and committees and you should be able to hit the ground running to pull together all stages of planning as well as the on-site delivery and post event reconciliation of high profile events.

This is a super contract role for a meticulous and highly professional Senior Event Coordinator with good B2B corporate events experience.
