Fantastic vacancy for a Conference & Event Coordinator with circa 2-3 years’ experience in B2B events, conferences & training courses.

ROLE

This is a maternity cover contract (through to end of April 2021) suitable for an experienced Conference & Event Coordinator. The role is working in a friendly Conference & Events Team of 4 staff and you will work closely with 1 other Conference & Event Coordinator (both of you will report to the Conference & Event Manager and the entire team is supported by an Administrator).

This role involves the end2end planning & delivery of a range of UK events for 20-350 attendees including 1-2 day conferences, awards, CPD events, residential training courses, half day workshops & seminars, president's annual dinner and various receptions and networking events. You will “own” some events and work as part of the wider team on other events.

YOU

You’ll be a diligent and focused Event Coordinator with circa 2-3 years events related experience (working for a professional body, association/society/membership organisation or in-house for a corporate company) and a proven background of planning and delivering events such as conferences, training courses, awards, receptions, seminars, workshops and networking events for 20-350 pax. Experience of working with committee and members is essential as is experience of using Cvent (delegate management system).
