Junior Delegate Manager – (Global Incentive Event - 5 month contract)

Rare opportunity to get your foot in the door at a leading events agency - brilliant 5 month contract role for someone looking to develop their events logistics career, working in this sociable and experienced events team working on a major global incentive programme.

Overview:
5 month contract working with this leading creative events agency – you’ll be working on a major incentive programme for a leading global brand – they run an annual recognition project which culminates in a fantastic incentive reward event for their top performers from all aspects of the business, globally – and this year the event will be in Sydney, Australia.

Role:
The logistics team are looking for a Junior Data Manager to work with the Hotel and Delegate Registration Manager to support them from mid Feb through to post event, looking after the delegate registration and data management process.  Obviously the role involves lots of working with the database, but also lots of communication and liaising with delegates and the events team.  So a really meaty and varied role!  Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manage guest registration, and input of data, manage guest changes and amends
  • Assist with managing guest registration inbox
  • Manage and create guest itineraries
  • Chase up queries, and responses, communicate updates
  • Support liaison with Country representatives
  • Create reports, update relevant areas of logistics – travel, visas, accommodation
  • Follow through with on-site ‘hands-on’ event delivery – TBC (14 days in Sydney in June)

    You:
    You’ll need to be bright, motivated, great team player, and have some previous experience dealing with a delegate/guest registration system, and associated communications. And a strong interest in developing your events career.

Specifically you’ll need:

  • Great IT skills, and attention to detail
  • Experience working on delegate registration/management systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated team player with a commitment to quality,client satisfaction and professionalism
  • Interested to grow your career within event logistics
  • Can write accurate and timely contact reports
  • Extremely organised, bags of commons sense, flexible and adaptable to new challenges
  • Fluency in additional European languages would be a significant benefit
