Fantastic permanent opening for an experienced Senior Technical Production Manager who lives in or near Hampshire.

THE COMPANY
International Congress Management + MICE Agency with fantastic offices in rural Hampshire who work across a broad variety of sectors for a wide range of corporate, FMCG, government and association clients.

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Production Director, the Senior Production Manager role will be responsible for the development, production and technical delivery of events & projects from proposal to debrief and everything in between including the on-site production management.
Key responsibilities will include specifying, costing, procuring and delivering the technical and production requirements for a range of medium sized overseas events with mixed levels of production and staging.
This isn’t a client facing role but when required you’ll need to be able to present budgets and other material to client groups and purchasing teams and you’ll also be expected to guide and motivate junior members of the production team.
The role will involve lots of international travel so candidates must be willing to be abroad on a fairly regular basis.

YOU
You’ll need to have strong production or technical experience gained from an events, congresses or show environment and should be ambitious, driven and highly motivated.
You’ll have strong negotiation and management skills, be logical, co-ordinated, team oriented and be an excellent communicator who is able to manage the production of high quality projects and live events. You should also be very technically astute, have good admin and IT skills and be aware of new equipment and techniques.

Key requirements include:-
• Broad technical production experience
• On-site production management
• Experience of implementing H&S procedures
• Supplier selection and management
• Interpreting technical drawings (Autocad or vectorworks)
• Budgeting and financial management
• Site visit and venue recce management
• Thrive in a fast paced & high-pressure environment
• Work with internal teams (design, account management etc)
