Excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst with strong stakeholder management skills to join a talented Programme team, at a hugely exciting time in the delivery of a high profile unprecedented project.

The Programme team are tasked with delivering operationally a high profile automatic enrolment pension scheme which will on-board thousands and thousands of businesses across the UK.  What’s exciting is the opportunity to deliver a variety of projects that essentially help to ramp-up their operational capacity particularly relating to technology and contact centre.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Scheme Data and Analytics; you will join the ‘Change and Service Programme’ team responsible for assuring the live running of the product, working closely with the ‘service team’ and a third party provider, you’ll take on a range of projects to solve operational problems.  Using your vast analytical skills you’ll analyse  data to highlight any patterns or flaws to ensure systems become more robust and subsequently report on any identified service improvements to product and marketing teams.

Day to day:

  • Act as service provider – undertake large scheme projects that need to be delivered to meet operational capacity or solve issues arising and to define problems for solution by other teams
  • Manage risk and processes associated with changes to solution
  • Monitor longer term forward capacity planning and emerging trends to identity any risks and ensuring appropriate measures are put in place as a solution
  • To define problems and commission work from within the product and marketing team to solves these; ie service improvements, define MI needs
  • Commissioning work from within the product and marketing teams to solve/info scheme solutions
  • Articulate briefs for each project
  • Write project plans
  • Produce data reports
  • Manage 3rd party outsource partner.

About You

I’m looking for a ‘hit the ground running’  Business Analyst with excellent stakeholder management skills, who’s gained experience supporting front line business operations within financial services, ideally occupational pensions.  Using your strong analysis and strategic thinking skills you will be able to deliver and manage various projects to ensure operational delivery.  Ideally you would have experience working with 3rd party suppliers and briefing product/marketing teams. Ideally you’ll have a strong background in financial service regulation.  Using your excellent communication skills you’ll be required to deal with Senior Directors and Trustees across the organisation.  This role will offer an opportunity for career development and allow you to be at the forefront of one of the most exciting FS reforms in recent times.  This role is initially for a 12 month FTC but there is a very strong possibility of extension thereafter.
