Marketing & Events Coordinator (Beauty Brands)

Job Description

Global Beauty & Cosmetics company searching for a super organised, creative and experienced marketing and communications professional.

The Company 
Large global Beauty & Cosmetics company with offices across the globe and an extremely strong presence in the US, Russian and Asian market. They have a vacancy in their London office for an experienced Marketing and Events Professional.

The Role
This is a long-term contract vacancy sitting within the Marketing division of this London based Beauty & Cosmetics company. The role will involve taking responsibility for the company communications, marketing campaigns and content plus a range of London and UK events; conferences, seminars, awards and recognition events, glitzy dinners and parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate content, design and printing of various marketing literature through the year (magazines, product guides, pricelists, brochures)
  • Copywriting for online and offline materials (website/magazine/email/newsletters)
  • Proof reading of all marketing materials
  • Support the planning and delivery of 3 major events (conference, seminar, awards)
  • Prepare post activity reporting – events and marketing activities
  • Supplier liaison and management
  • Manage Social Media content and updates
  • Liaise closely with Operations and Sales Development teams

The Candidate
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years marketing experience or equivalent ideally in the Beauty/Health or FMCG industry. Demonstrable experience of working on a wide range of marketing and PR activities is essential to this role. You will have excellent communication skills, an advanced level of expertise in copywriting and proofing and a very self-motivated, deadline driven working approach

Key Requirements

  • Marketing or Communications Qualification or equivalent experience
  • Ideally experience in the Cosmetics, Fragrance & Toiletries Industry
  • Previous marketing campaign management
  • Experience in forecasting would be beneficial though not essential
  • Technical skills – Proficient in Adobe PhotoShop and InDesign
  • Direct selling experience advantageous
  • Team-player, flexible and adaptable
  • Some events exposure in previous positions
  • Confident with high volume workloads and tight deadlines
  • Creative, fun and out-going person
  • Very detailed and very professional

This is a fantastic 14 month contract opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive to join a global firm within the beauty and cosmetics industry!
