Young (but estalished), dynamic, rapidly growing events company based in central London. Their events cover a number of portfolios including Oil & Gas, Defense, Brexit, Infrastructure and Commodity Trading. The company has, to-date, mainly grown from within, and is now looking to bring in additional new talent, experience and vision to enhance and support the extensive growth the company has planned for the next 2-3 years. They are looking to bring in a Head of Production, with the right balance of innovation, independence, commercial mindedness and leadership skills to support this.
A central part of the leadership team and reporting directly to the MD, you’ll lead a team of 4-6 Producers and Production Assistants (currently but growing), with responsibility for a portfolio of events, with revenues typically ranging from £100k to £350k. You’ll lead and develop the team, you’ll enhance processes, bringing new ideas and insight to the production process as well as the forward vision for event development. You’ll be strong on topic/event validation, and developing events to maximise their reach, size and commercial potential. As well as a leadership role, you’ll also have a number of the most prestigious hi-level government events as your direct production responsibility, as necessitated by the very high level status of participants.
