Fantastic role with international travel for a Senior Event Coordinator or Event Manager with experience of handling complex speaker logistics & abstract submissions (B2B large scale international conferences)!
Well established London PCO who deliver large scale 4-5 day global conferences for the energy and oil & gas sectors. London office and friendly and fun team.
This Speaker Manager role (reporting to the Head Speaker & Program Manager) will see you working on two very large scale international trade events (US and Asia) over an 18 month period.
You will go on-site to both events and will also be working extensively pre-event on all of the complex speaker logistics and high volume speaker abstract submissions. This will involve liaising with committees, speakers, managing abstract submissions, speaker registration, speaker biogs & profiles, AV & presentation requirements and on-site logistics.
A busy but fantastic role that will give you further international B2B event experience and exposure and the chance to spend 3-4 weeks once a year on-site overseas!
You’ll be a Senior Event Coordinator or Event Manager with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within B2B large scale international conferences handling high volume of speakers or delegate communication.
You’ll need to be a super organised person (a logistics whizz!) with amazing attention to detail who is systems & processes focused but is also good at liaising with speakers, committees and stakeholders (phone/email and face-to-face). You must be able to juggle multiple work strands and have good budget coordination skills.
“Nice to have” would be experience within oil & gas sector and mandarin languages skills but neither of these are essential at all.
