This is a unique role in as much as it operates on both sides of the coin – “client-side” working on experiential activations and live special events for the brand as well as “agency-side” providing unique experiences, live events and corporate team building & corporate challenge events for other companies/businesses/organisations.
This is a lovely mixed role of event management, project management and a small amount of account management (more client servicing / client relationship management to ensure repeat business) that will need an outgoing and confident event manager with good all-round experience in event management, production, logistics, venue & supplier liaison, branding, design & production of collateral, web portal updating, H&S and risk assessments, on-site delivery and budgeting. This is a very hands-on and end-to-end event management focused role that will on occasion involve some out of office hours and weekend work.
You’ll be a confident, motivated, fun and out-going individual with circa 3-5 years’ solid events experience (B2B and B2C live events) who is used to working for/with a brand.
You should be a strong all-round Event Manager with great project management skills and a good understanding of account management / client servicing as well as event production, logistics, planning, budgeting, on-site delivery and post event reconciliation.
You must have good knowledge of H&S, public liability and licenses, be able to write risk assessments and detailed on site ops and briefing notes and you should enjoy liaising with clients and be good at day-to-day client interaction & communication.
And finally …….you’ll need to be a hard-working and practical person with a brilliant personality (someone who gets on with everyone!) and a good trouble shooter who can solve problems on the ground at an event (i.e. can think on their feet when the power goes down or something goes wrong) and as the lead go-to person on-site at an event you must be unflappable in a crisis too!
Important: You must holds a valid UK driving licence
