Prestigious body working within the media production and broadcast sector. They stage the major annual industry flagship event – it’s huge! Attracts an international audience of 55,000 attendees, over 1,500 exhibitors – and features all the key “thought leaders” and senior professionals in the industry. And this is where you come in…
You’ll be joining the experienced team who deliver this major international event, and specifically you will be supporting the Conference team – they look after all the main speakers and VIPs attending – to ensure they have the best of the best attending, and looking after them both pre-event and on-site, as well as ensuring that the content that they deliver is on track. You’ll be giving admin and general support to the acquisition and delivery of the 350+ expert speakers and VIP delegates attending this event. So a really important role, requiring great organisational and communication skills, able to multi-task, and fabulous attention to detail.
You’ll have a minimum one year admin or events experience (nb this is not an entry level role), great admin skills, co-ordination, communication skills – able to deal with varied contacts including external senior level speakers. You love organising, managing the big picture and the small detail – you love working in a team, have a real sense of customer service – and are looking for a fab event role to immerse yourself in for 2018! Ideally you've done some speaker management before, or similar activity dealing with mulitple contacts and lots of information - and loved it!
