They work across the full range of live communications, including but not limited to conferences, incentives and awards, always with a clear and strategic focus on the overall achievement of the client’s key communications objectives.
This is a mat cover role – so you’ll be stepping in to look after an established team of Account Managers and Execs, and some really good clients, with existing projects on the books. You’ll be managing your own major clients as well as overseeing your Account Managers and their varied clients (from telecoms to travel and financial))– you’ll work closely with your clients to develop and deliver a range of brand experience, live event and communications projects. Keeping your client relationships fresh, invigorated – and growing!
You’ll head up your own team to manage and develop strategic relationships with key clients, with a focus on:
Above all I’m looking for someone with an excellent track record within the agency events world – with great account management skills, who loves developing close relationships with your clients and understanding of their business – and loves mentoring others. You’ll have great team leadership skills, with line management experience. You’ll have (of course) proven experience of working on a varied range of events for corporate clients, and ideally have developed your craft within a similar agency. You’ll be strong on getting under the skin of the wider strategic and communications objectives, as well as understanding the nuts and bolts of delivering good projects. You’re used to dealing with senior stakeholders, and enjoy working collaboratively.
