Use your love sport and experience of sports editing to oversee the production of this world sport magazine. As part of the communications team, you will report into the Project Lead, Photo Archive and Publications teams providing project support when needed. A varied role involving content writing for both digital and print, commissioning copy and photos, sourcing photos, editing and proofing, managing and updating the mailing list with the External Communications team along with generating ideas for Olympic publications. You will work closely with their external creative agency on design and also lead on production of programme messages and editorials for their events plus any ad hoc writing including press releases and pieces for their digital offering. This is an initial 12 month FTC.
I am looking for a sports editor/journalist with a proven track record of editing and producing a sports publication. You will have written copy and been involved in all aspects of producing a print publication and are used to taking control of all aspects including being the main contact with agency’s. An idea’s person, used to commissioning work, searching for photos, proof reading. You are confident working on your own and have great creative ideas. French useful.
