Project Implementation Manager – (employee engagement & performance improvement agency)

At the centre of this are the web-based ‘hubs’ that users engage with, and that measure and report on the results.

The Role:
This role focusses on getting the web-based aspects of the programmes up and running – so right at the critical front end.  As Project Implementation Manager you’ll manage the overall project time line, and be the key co-ordinator between the client services team (who look after the client needs and project objectives), the technology team (responsible for designing and programming the digital workings of the project), and also the creative team (responsible for the look and feel of the programme).  So, as well as being an excellent project manager used to dealing with web-based projects, you’ll need to have great communication skills, and be able to deal with multiple teams across varied disciplines.
Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation and ‘go live’ of web-based Performance Improvement Projects taking responsibility for timelines, project plans, reporting, launch planning and execution and communicating internally on progress
  • To be the go-between between the technical (digital) team, creative, and client services – to manage the successful set up of programmes to meet client brief/objectives
  • To test and document each new Performance Improvement project to ensure high levels of quality are achieved
  • To ensure programmes are user friendly and manage all aspects of pre-launch testing
  • To attend client meetings with client services team members
  • To act as first line support for enquiries relating to how projects are progressing, or to resolve issues
  • To be the designated expert in the operation of the database and web content management tools

You:
You’ll already have experience of implementing new web-based projects and some project management experience, and be well suited and able to act as middle person between client-facing teams and technology.  Specifically you’ll ideally have:

  • Extensive experience working with systems/software to deliver technology-based projects/programmes for clients (internal or external)
  • Solid project management experience, including responsibility for meeting deadlines, reporting on progress, working in virtual teams
  • A Project Management qualification would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent IT skills, including good knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Access
  • A Project Management qualification would be advantageous but not essential
  • In depth knowledge (and able to demonstrate expertise in use) of  software/systems/databases/websites
  • Passion for quality and detail
  • Logical and analytical approach
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships at all levels and with all types of people
  • Good communication skills – verbal, written – with clarity of expression
  • Good time management skills and solid administrative skills
