DEPUTY HEAD EVENT LOGISTICS - FINANCIAL ROADSHOWS

For a very experienced Event Logistics professional this is a fantastic event management role that will see you travelling all over the world, planning and delivering financial roadshows for many of the big global corporates!

The Company
Small yet rapidly expanding privately owned agency (with offices around the globe) who specialise in the management of high-spec bespoke financial roadshows for an enviable portfolio of high profile investment and banking clients.

The Role
The Deputy Head (Logistics) will be based in the London office, working as part of a team that are responsible for the planning and smooth delivery of financial roadshows across the globe.
This will be a very busy and demanding role which will involve substantial international travel and a role where you will need to be able to respond very quickly to clients ever changing needs and requests.

Your role will include:
• Looking after all logistical components of financial roadshows
• Booking venues, flights, private jets, ground transfers & hotels
• Managing complex schedules & rooming information
• Managing luggage dispatch, key allocation & executive handbooks
• Building relationships with clients, hotels, venues & suppliers
• Managing permanant & freelance staff
• Budget management
• Communicating schedule changes
• Invoicing and reconciliation
• Presenting logistical elements of proposals
• Organising special requests (private dinners, special weekend arrangements etc.)

About you
The successful candidate will be a polished, dynamic, articulate and highly professional individual with impeccable customer service skills, and the confidence to work closely with C level delegates in a client facing role.

You will need to have a proven track record of handling complex event logistics at a senior level (working to tight deadlines in a demanding and fast paced environment) and you will also need to have good international event management experience.

The role offers superb career progression opportunities and will suit someone who is ambitious and highly-motivated and is hungry to move up the ladder and take on more senior management responsibilities.

Financial roadshow experience is desirable however those with a good understanding of the pace of roadshows and the meticulous layers of planning and last-minute revision needed for their successful and seamless delivery will also be considered.
What is absolutely essential is the need to be a very “hands-on” senior event logistics professional with bags of initiative who enjoys working within a relatively small team in a very fast paced and exciting environment.

Attention to detail is paramount and as you’ll be liaising with board level and very senior executives (with ever changing requests) you will need to be diplomatic, unflappable in a crisis, offer solutions (not problems!) and have superb communication and social skills.
