DEPUTY HEAD OF EVENTS - FINANCIAL ROADSHOWS
Ref. E4549 | £45K - £55K + FANTASTIC BENEFITS | Permanent

Great new Deputy Head of Events role working agency-side on the strategic planning and delivery of high-end international financial roadshows!

THE COMPANY
Small yet rapidly expanding privately owned agency who specialise in the management of high-level bespoke financial roadshows for an enviable portfolio of high profile investment and banking clients.

THE ROLE
The Deputy Head of Events will work alongside the Head of Events to oversee the smooth running of the team, and ensure that events are delivered to an exceptionally high standard. This is a client facing role and you will work closely with C-Level delegates from prestigious financial institutions from around the world. Most financial roadshow roles require extensive international travel, but not this one! You will travel occasionally and you will still be hands-on enough to deliver your own small portfolio of events but the main day-to-day aspects of this role will be overseeing the strategic planning of the events programme as well as line-managing the team and monitoring the department’s output overall.

Your role will include:
• Complex event administration
• Workload management of the logistics team
• Staff recruitment, training and development
• Budget management and financial forecasting
• Contributing to the strategy of the department
• Planning and delivering financial roadshows
• Some international travel
• Hosting events in 5* venues

ABOUT YOU
You’ll be a strategic as well as hands-on Senior Event professional with substantial deal-led financial roadshow experience.

You’ll be comfortable engaging with senior personnel and board level executives and will have planned and delivered a number of high-level international roadshows with audiences of C-Level delegates from across the financial sector.

You’ll also have strong leadership and management skills, an incredible level of attention to detail, outstanding organisational skills and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment that involves working with demanding clients and to very tight deadlines while at the same time delivering events to the very highest of standards.

If you’re a polished, well presented and articulate individual who is looking for a challenging new senior level event role that offers career progression, leadership and hands-on event delivery, then this could be the ideal role for you!
