EVENT MARKETING MANAGER

Newly created role for an experienced Event Marketing Manager to plan and deliver a successful marketing campaign using a range of marketing channels to drive visitors to a unique and high profile interactive show & exhibition.

The Company
Recently created communications team within award winning central London event company. They are a subsidiary of a large well-established not-for-profit organisation working in collaboration with government representatives and policy makers, education providers, industry bodies and funding agencies. The event company deliver high profile exhibitions, competitions, awards, conferences and interactive showcase events to a wide and varied audience.

The Role
Working alongside one other Event Marketing Manager you will be part of the team responsible for the creation, planning, delivery and evaluation of the marketing of a high profile, award winning show.
This is a 6 month contract that is likely to extend.
Your role will include:
Planning and delivering design and print projects
Managing direct marketing (on and off-line)
Provide strategic marketing advice
Managing resources and external suppliers
Immediate start

About You
You will need to be an experienced consumer and b2b integrated campaign Marketing Manager, used to using a wide range of marketing channels to raise awareness, create engagement and drive action. You will be a resilient, self-starter with the ability to make an impact in a short space of time. Excellent copywriter, proof-reader with strong attention to detail. Strategic thinker and delivery focussed. You will be comfortable in a start-up environment, managing your own workload, be a pro-active team player and have excellent communication skills coupled with strong drive and enthusiasm.
