DEPUTY HEAD OF EVENTS - CHARITY - 3 MTH CONTRACT

Leading Charity seeks a very experienced senior events professional for a 3 month contract to act as a Deputy Head and take some of the workload off the permanent Head of Events for a short period!

INFORMATION ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client (a leading Charity) urgently needs a very experienced events professional with substantial international experience gained from working for an NGO or charity to join them for 3 months during a particularly busy period.
This is a 3 month contract starting asap that would suit someone with strong event researching, planning, budgeting, logistics and staff management skills.

Key responsibilities:-
·Project Management
·Venue finding and venue research
·Planning and logistics for board-level events & retreats
·Speaker acquisition
·Creating detailed venue proposals for international events
·Financial management of projects and events
·Staff management (team of between 4-6 staff)
·Strategic input into budget development for 2013
·Assist in the design and set up of a new Governance Programme

NB: There are no international meetings scheduled over the period of this contract so this will primarily be an office-based role.
