Assistant Event Manager – Fluent Portuguese

This London based consultancy business are looking for an Assistant Event Manager with Portuguese language skills to join their team. You will be working alongside the Event Manager to plan and organise a series of B2B events that take place across Portuguese speaking regions.

The Assistant Event Manager focuses mainly on event logistics and your role will include:
• Responding to phone and email enquiries
• Assisting clients with their visa and accommodation requirements
• Preparing event materials and marketing materials in both Portuguese and English
• Sourcing venues and building relationships with venue managers
• Monitoring delegate registrations
• Raising invoices
• Coordinating onsite teams
• Assisting with event delivery
• Collating feedback

The successful candidate will speak both Portuguese and English fluently. You will have a very strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and experience in a B2B events role, preferably within a corporate environment.

Sponsorship and visas can be provided if needed for working in the UK.

Candidates who are not currently based in the UK will also be considered.
