A fantastic permanent opening with a highly regarded Production, AV & Staging company for a talented and ambitious Production Assistant/Coordinator or Junior Producer!
Well-established “West London M4 corridor” based company who provide a wide range of Production, AV & Event services to an impressive portfolio of key corporate and big global brand clients. This company are also preferred suppliers to a number of high profile and prestigious London event venues and hotels.
The Production Coordinator will be part of the Events team and will be responsible for co-ordinating the administrative, logistical and research elements of this company’s production service/offering across a wide range of projects and events.
The role will encompass many aspects of sales, creativity, account management, administration and customer care and will primarily involve supporting the Account Managers and working alongside the Production and Technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the highest possible standards …. all in a high pressure and fast paced environment!
·Support the Account team throughout projects (including proposal, on-site & post-event stages)
·Be the main day-to-day point of contact for clients
·Source and book external elements (crew, transportation etc)
·Co-ordinate and book travel & accommodation arrangements
·Develop, nurture and maintain clients/accounts
·Work alongside the production & technical teams.
·Actively source new business opportunities & develop contacts
·Propose creative concepts & production solutions
·Attend site visits and pre-production meetings
·Develop and maintain a portfolio of creative set designs, images & case studies
·Up-sell services and additional elements (digital services, video editing, design etc)
The ideal candidate will already have some production experience (gained from working for a company specialising either in production, TV & broadcast, event management or AV & technical equipment hire) and will be aiming career-wise to become an Event Producer or Production Manager in a few years’ time.
For now though to take on this Production Coordinator role you’ll need to have superb organisational and administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, be commercially focused with a keen eye for increasing profit margins and growing accounts, be extremely client facing and good at building relationships to drive forward repeat business.
You’ll also need to be creative, enjoy putting together event & production proposals and be happy acting as the key intermediary / liaison point between clients, account managers and the production/technical teams.
You’ll have experience of working with internal producers and technical staff to pull together all logistics, equipment, crew and transportation requirements including preparing quotes and purchase orders and producing detailed schedules and equipment checklists.
A large proportion of this role will be office based and administrative however there will be “on-site work” from time to time and there will certainly be plenty of site visits and client meetings.
Please note that you’ll need to live or be in drivable distance of the “West London M4 corridor” to take on this role.
