The Company
Rapidly expanding International business improvement and learning company based in London who provide training and development programmes “with a difference” to a range of clients from small companies to large global corporates including some of the best and most well-known FTSE 100 companies.
The Role
This is a newly created role within this rapidly expanding, innovative and cutting-edge company and the role has a 50% event management and 50% marketing remit.
On the event management side the post holder will be responsible for taking ownership of the company’s small number of external events (including business, networking and information & policy exchange events held at cool & edgy intimate London venues) as well as managing their exhibition stand and handling and arranging high profile speaker slots for key internal staff at large international “learning and development” shows and conferences (primarily in the US).
The marketing aspect of the role will involve being a key player in the company’s forthcoming brand re-design. You’ll be working with various departments across the business including the design team to look at the client journey, help develop the website’s look & feel and content and you’ll also be a pioneer in the company’s social media strategy.
The Candidate
Candidates must have a 2.1 from a top university and several years' relevant experience (since leaving university) in either a marketing, events, PR, branding or communications based role.
Key skills required include:

· Copywriting
· Web management
· Key note speaker & exhibition stand management
The right candidate will be curious, dynamic, display a mature level of questioning and also be incredibly efficient with incredible attention to detail. Being proactive, great at building relationships, super-organised and a real team player is also essential as is the ability to quickly get to grips with the role and hit the ground running.
This role has great career progression so the ideal candidate will be an experienced events & marketing co-ordinator who is now looking for more responsibility and chomping at the bit to start moving in the direction of becoming a manager!
On a day to day basis the Senior Events & Marketing Co-ordinator will organise the events, curate direct marketing campaigns & newsletters, help with copywriting, watch over the website and handle the company’s social media so candidates must have a good working knowledge of all of these areas.
