Event Planner – Investment Banking

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced events professional looking for a role in a corporate environment.

The Company
This Event Planner role is working for a leading financial services provider with a strong presence in investment banking.

The Role
The Event Planner is responsible for all of the back-end and pre event planning of a series of international financial roadshows. You will sit on the trading floor of their London office, and work with partners and suppliers who are based all over the globe. The emphasis is on roadshows for the Asian market, but occasionally you may work on projects for different regions. Events are delivered by local partners and onsite teams, so this is an office based role. Your role will include:
• Complex administration
• Budget management
• Preparing detailed delivery plans
• Delegate communication
• Booking flights and hotels
• Sourcing suppliers
• Venue sourcing

About You
You are a polished and well presented individual with strong B2B events experience, and a preference for working in corporate environments. You are confident, personable and enthusiastic, and have excellent communication skills. Experience working on financial roadshows is preferable, but candidates with events experience from banking, financial services, law firms, accountancy or professional services will also be considered.
