CORPORATE AFFAIRS MANAGER

Join the Corporate Affairs department of this unique and high profile advisory body. They are looking for an experienced Corporate Affairs Manager ideally with a public policy background, to work across their Media and Stakeholder teams. A great opportunity to be part of a huge and exciting project that will have a large social impact.

The Company

· Established to assist with the implementation and roll out of a major scheme and government reform programme

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs you will work with the senior management team, media and stakeholders ensuring the organisations public profile and reputation

· Corporate Affairs Manager
· Work across media and stakeholder divisions
· Develop and maintain working relationships, intelligence and data with providers and provider bodies
· Gather intelligence in Parliament and Whitehall, liaise with key influencers
· Brief the Chairman and CEO as ambassadors and assist with research and speech writing for key events
· Alongside the Media team, plan external announcements
· Thought leadership development
· Speech and presentation writing to deliver key messages

The Candidate
With a corporate/public affairs background, either as public affairs consultant or in-house, you will ideally have knowledge of the financial sector and awareness of policy challenges in this area

· Strong communication skills written and oral
· Comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven and regulated environment
· Good research skills
· Public policy background and influencing experience
· Ability to translate technical messages to a wide audience in plain English
· Excellent organiser and networker
· Strong stakeholder and senior management communicator
· Presentation skills
· Team player, highly organised, delivery focused
