ACCOMMODATION LOGISTICS MANAGER - 6 MONTH CONTRACT (AGENCY)

Exciting 6 month contract opportunity for an Accommodation Logistics Manager to work for a leading brand experience and live event agency on a complex and large-scale European technology show!

The Company
A leading global brand experience and live event agency based in London with an incredible portfolio of accounts and clients.

Role
Our client is looking for an outstanding Logistics Manager who specialises in accommodation logistics to manage the complex accommodation requirements for a large scale technology event in Europe in the Autumn this year. The role will be client facing with regular client liaison and will also involve managing a team of 3-4 junior staff.
Key responsibilities include:
·Take ownership of all accommodation logistics
·Hotel contract negotiation
·Hotel management
·Client liaison
·Management of the registration accommodation helpdesk
·Lead a junior team of logistics helpdesk staff
·Management of attrition levels for client
·Regularly update the project team
·Financial management
·Project reconciliation

The Candidate
The successful candidate will be degree educated, have excellent logistic management experience and be a specialist in accommodation logistics. You must be comfortable handling complex accommodation requirements (up to 15,000 room nights across 40+ different hotels in one city/location).
Your CV should demonstrate that you have:
·Experience of taking ownership of all accommodation logistics
·Outstanding hotel contract negotiation & management skills
·Management of a team of 3-4 staff
·Exceptional organizational & administration skills
·Impeccable attention to detail
·Excellent project management experience
·Used to working to tight deadlines and under pressure
·Skilful negotiator and excellent communicator
·Advanced IT skills and database management
Important: You MUST have managed large accommodation groups in a previous role!
