An exciting contract opportunity for a Senior Event Marketing Manager to work collaboratively with the communications team to design, implement and evaluate high profile interactive shows & exhibitions.
The Company:
This central London event company is a subsidiary of a large well-established not-for-profit organisation working in collaboration with government representatives and policy makers, education providers, industry bodies and funding agencies. The event company deliver high profile exhibitions, competitions, awards, conferences and interactive showcase events.
The Role:
You will be working collaboratively with the Communications team to lead on the design, implementation and evaluation of the event marketing communications plan.
· Developing a broad range of event marketing communications plans
· Ensuring all events marketing activity is in line with the wider marketing strategy
· Brand development
· Working with a wide range of stake holders and partners
· Brief and manage a wider team including specialist marketing managers and external suppliers
· Manage market research strategies
· Effectively manage resources, tasks and activities
· Recruit and manage, support allocated staff

The Candidate:
You will have proven experience of working across a wide range of marketing activities
· Relevant experience in marketing communications role
· A good understanding marketing or external communications
· Experience of selecting and managing contractors/suppliers setting and managing budgets
· Experience of developing, maintaining and monitoring project/programme plans
· Ability to manage workload, prioritise accordingly and meet deadlines
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient in the use of IT applications (Microsoft Office specifically)
· Flexible – team player
· Educated to degree level or equivalent
