EVENTS EXECUTIVE - BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP BODY (Part-time)
This UK based business membership organisation is looking for an experienced Event Executive to launch and develop a new and specialist section. The programme will provide Chinese-origin businesses with a London business network, and give Chinese investors in London an understanding of the London business set-up. You'll develop and run the programme of events to facilitate this - a new and exciting role and challenge. The role is three days per week on a fixed term (1 year) contract.
ROLE
- Design and deliver business events programme (breakfasts, seminars, receptions)
- Liase with Sponsors and Businesses
- Develop marketing plans and literature
- Source venues, speakers, suppliers
- Handle all event pre and on-site logistics
- Monitor all financial aspects of programme
CANDIDATE
- Track record in organising business events
- An interest/previous experience dealing with Chinese business/culture
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
