HEAD OF EVENTS UK & EMEA - INVESTMENT BANK
Leading investment bank is looking for a strategically-led Head of Events for their UK&EMEA team - as they deliver a programme of internal and external events, conferences, hospitality and cultural sponsorship. Reporting to the Head of Global Events you'll engage internal stakeholders providing strategic and practical support across their event requirements, ensuring your team deliver the quality and business relevant level of events expected at the very top of the corporate market.
ROLE
- Lead and develop team of events specialists
- Plan and manage programme of internal/external corporate events
- Ensure events programme work to communicate key business messages for both domestic and international audiences and support strategic business objectives
- Stakeholder/client management (30%)
- Business management/resource planning (30%)
- High level oversight of flagship events (10%)
- Team leadership (30%)
- Build synergy across global business divisions
- Provide strategic and practical support for the Head of Global Marketing
CANDIDATE
- Senior level events professional
- Breadth of experience across events, conferences, art & cultural sponsorships, corporate hospitality, special events
- Global exposure
- Team management experience
- Ideally with an investment banking/financial background
