You'll be the operational lead in devising and delivering these high profile events ...
ROLE
- Daily management of a small team of operations personnel
- Creation of adventure training concepts
- Write course notes, briefing materials, project plans
- Site visits, venue liaison, route planning, health & safety management, management of staff at events
- Budget management
- Design and test courses (trail-running, mountain-biking, canoeing etc..)
- Oversee full operational delivery
CANDIDATE
- Previous involvement in sports or outdoor mass participation events
- Experience of dealing with venues, outdoor activities/sites
- Experience of planning 'course' events with varied outdoor requirements
- Competent map reader
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
- Experience of managing (small teams)
- Confident public speaker
